Rainbow Room sensory cooking

 We regularly engage in a range of sensory cooking sessions in Rainbow Room where we can cook, bake and investigate a variety of ingredients using all of our senses. We mirror this with related vocabulary, PECs symbols and Makaton signs. The children enjoy tasting their creations at snack time in nursery and the recipes are often posted on tapestry or our Facebook page to be recreated at home.
