Rhythms of the Day
At nursery we have a daily and weekly routine. Young children thrive on structure, predictability, and consistency. A daily routine in a nursery setting is essential for both the development of the child and the smooth running of the classroom.
Our routine supports children's emotional security; independence; organisation skills and behaviour. A clear routine helps children to build confidence; encourages self-help and responsibility and ensure transitions and expectations are clear.
Children access a balance of child-initiated play and adult directed inputs. Opportunities are provided to support children's learning, with key focus' across the curriculum areas.
